Our Story

Par Exsalonce, an Aveda Lifestyle Salon/Spa, has two convenient locations to serve our guests. Our original location at the corner of College and Quivira in Overland Park, KS was opened in November of 1984. We have proudly served our customers out of this location while the business has grown through two significant expansions over the years. The business consists of a salon with fifteen styling stations and a spa with four massage rooms, three skin care rooms, and a nail suite with four pedicure beds and four manicure stations. Our spa is unique with regard to the relaxation room available to our spa guests as they transition to their spa services.

In December 2008 Par Exsalonce had the opportunity to open our third location in the Zona Rosa development in Kansas City, MO. This location, like our others, is designed to provide a superior Aveda service experience as well as retail opportunities for Aveda products. This location has a ten-chair salon, a spa with two treatment rooms, as well as five pedicure stations and two manicure stations.

At the beginning of December 2017 we moved our operations previously located at Oak Park Mall to an expansion of our original salon at College & Qivira as Par Exsalonce - Studio.  This expanded salon space is dedicated to the training and development of our newest salon team members as well as established team members.  The Studio is a full service salon for our guests seeking high quality AVEDA salon services at an affordable price.
